Privacy policy
This policy describes what we actually do with your information. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.

The short version
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking of any kind. We collect only what you send us: your name, phone number and your description of your situation. Once your matter is closed, we delete the documents you sent us. We never sell your information, and we share it with no one except the e-Sevai centre that carries out your transaction.
Who is responsible for your data
e-Sevai4NRI is operated by Arvindh Selvam, based in Dubai, as an individual rather than through a registered company, and is the data controller responsible for the information described here. Contact: [email protected].
If a registered entity is established later, this section will be updated to name it and give its address.
What this website collects
Nothing automatically. There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording, and no third-party scripts other than the web fonts described below. You can read every page on this site without leaving any record with us.
The only information this site collects is what you type into the callback form on the contact page:
- Your name — so we know how to address you.
- Your phone number — this is how we reply. The form has no email field, because we call or message back.
- The topic you select from the dropdown.
- Your description of the situation, in your own words.
All four are used for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and work out whether we can help. None of it feeds a marketing list, because we run no marketing to you.
What you send us later
If we take on your matter, you will send us property and identity documents. These may include passports, visas, sale deeds, wills, death certificates, legal heir certificates, patta copies and photographs. This is sensitive information and we treat it as such.
- Where it goes. Documents reach us over WhatsApp and email, the latter hosted by Zoho. We do not upload them to any cloud storage service of our own.
- How long we keep it. We delete the documents you sent us once your matter is closed. We do not retain copies for future use, for examples of past work, or for any other purpose.
- Who sees it. Only those who need it to do the work: us, and the e-Sevai centre executing your transaction.
One limitation, stated honestly. Deleting a document from our devices does not delete it from yours, from the message history on your own phone, or from records that a government authority requires to be retained as part of an official transaction. We control our own copies. We cannot delete what the government holds, and neither can you.
Who else your information reaches
We do not sell data and we do not share it for advertising. These are the only parties that receive any of it, and the reason each one does:
- A TNeGA-authorized e-Sevai centre in Tamil Nadu. Your documents are shared with the centre that executes your transaction, because the official filing cannot happen otherwise. This is the core of the service, not an optional extra.
- Web3Forms. The callback form is processed by this service, which passes your submission to our inbox. Your entry passes through their systems in transit.
- Google Fonts. The typefaces on this site load from Google’s servers, which means Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads. We receive nothing from this and cannot see it. A content blocker will stop it without breaking the site.
- Zoho Mail (United States). Our [email protected] mailbox is hosted by Zoho on their US infrastructure. Anything you email us — including documents you attach — is stored on their systems for as long as it sits in that inbox, and is deleted when your matter closes along with everything else.
- Cloudflare. This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses, as any web host does.
- WhatsApp (Meta). If you contact us on WhatsApp, that conversation is governed by WhatsApp’s privacy terms, not ours. Message contents are end-to-end encrypted; the fact that you messaged us is not.
Government fees are paid to government authorities. We process no card payments on this website, and this site has no payment page.
Where your information is handled
Your matter is executed in Tamil Nadu, so your documents are handled in India regardless of where you live. If you are resident in the United Kingdom, the European Union, the Gulf or elsewhere, engaging us means your information is processed in India, which may apply different data protection standards from your country of residence.
One exception, and we would rather name it than let you assume otherwise: our email is hosted in the United States. Anything you send to [email protected], including attachments, is stored on Zoho’s US infrastructure for as long as it remains in that inbox — a third country that is likely neither yours nor ours. Documents sent over WhatsApp do not pass through it. If you would prefer nothing of yours sat on US servers, send documents by WhatsApp rather than email and tell us, and we will keep it that way.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what information about you we currently hold.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete what we hold, subject to the limitation about government records noted above.
- Stop contacting you entirely.
Email [email protected] and we will action it. We require no formal request format and no reason. If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 gives you these rights directly. If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR may apply to your relationship with us.
Security, stated plainly
We use the ordinary protections available on the services we use: encrypted transport for this website, device passcodes, and WhatsApp’s end-to-end encryption. We are a small operation, not a bank, and we will not claim security guarantees we cannot enforce. What we can promise is that we do not keep your documents for longer than the work requires, which is the most effective protection available to us.
Children
This service is for adults handling property matters. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, except where a minor is named in property documents you send us as part of a succession matter.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will change this page and update the date at the top. We will not make a change quietly and rely on you not noticing.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your information, tell us first at [email protected] — we would rather put it right directly. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or to the supervisory authority in your country of residence if you are in the EU or UK.
